Thank You, Steve! Join us in Supporting His Inspiring Journey

We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude and admiration to Steve, who is about to embark on an extraordinary journey.  On June 17th, he will begin his remarkable cycling adventure, covering an incredible 1500 miles from St-Malo, France to Malaga, Spain.

Four years ago, Steve’s dear friend Vincent received a devastating blood cancer diagnosis. Thanks to the exceptional care provided by the Clatterbridge Cancer Centre in Liverpool, Vincent has been able to continue living his life with courage and resilience.  Witnessing Vincent’s incredible journey inspired Steve to become involved with a local haematology support group, where he discovered Merseyside Against Blood Cancers: The Bloom Appeal.

Motivated by Vincent’s experience and the impactful work of our charity, Steve has taken on a challenge of a lifetime.  By cycling 1500 miles, he symbolizes hope, determination, and the strength to overcome challenges.  Beyond a personal endeavour, Steve’s journey also presents an opportunity to raise funds and awareness for Merseyside Against Blood Cancers: The Bloom Appeal and together, we aim to bring positive change to the lives of those affected by blood cancers.

We extend an invitation to everyone to contribute to this meaningful cause and support Steve on his incredible journey:

1.    Please visit Steve’s Just Giving page and make a direct contribution to Steve’s fundraising campaign.  You all play an invaluable role in bringing us closer to better treatments and improved patient care.  Each donation, no matter the size, has the power to make a significant impact.

2.    Spread the Word: Help us amplify Steve’s inspiring story and journey by sharing it on social media platforms. By raising awareness about Steve’s challenge and the work of our charity, you inspire others to join us in making a difference.

Stay tuned for updates on Steve’s ride!

Thank you, Steve, for your inspiring dedication. Together, we can hopefully help transform lives affected by blood cancers.
